  JWs and Neutrality

  jws have always had a problem with neutrality:.

  1) during ww i they encouraged via the magazines to buy war bonds, i.e., liberty bonds, as it was then known, thus actively supporting the war effort (search, under "war bonds").. 2) during ww ii, the australian branch also invested heavily in war bonds in order for the ban to be lifted.

  after the war, they had to repent, before jehovah could bless their efforts again.. 3) more recently the wts has invested in companies with defense contracts.. 4) membership of the un as ngo (1992-2001).

  Neutral? Um no.

  The WTBT$ and GB have their fingers in just about everything, they just don't want you to know about it. They only preach the neutrality issue because they know, if you get yourself involved in a cause you might not spend every waking minute, and dime, on them, you just might learn something and the more you know, well we all know where that leads, right out the door.

  just my thoughts on the orgs consistent beating of the proverbial drum of satan the devil - first off i have never once met a person who has had such an encounter with devil or any of his demon cohorts and stories told me by word of mouth the person who said saw such things always had some mental issue.

  if this devil where in fact real to reveal himself to anyone would prove there is a god for if there is evil there is good and whatever temp suffering this devil could conjure up would be worth enduring because one would know beyond a shadow of a doubt there is a god!

  Every super hero needs a nemesis; without the infamous devil to blame, god would look like one nasty dude.

  Once a good god figure was invented then it was only natural to manufacture an opposing villain to make “god” look good.

  There you have it and what a sham!

  In my opinion the devil got a really bad rap; hell the guy ain’t even real but everyone’s been blaming him for their mistakes and misfortune. So to that I say, stop using him as your scapegoat crutch and blame the asshole god, or better yet admit it’s all a bunch of bull and own up to YOUR misdeeds.

  a quick personal take on the new wts dvd for kids:.

  1) the father seems like a robot (reminded me of arnie in the terminator).. .

  2) the mother has a split personality, one moment she's all nice the next she's flipping out when the programming takes over.. .

  The WTBT$ wants checked out crazy robots; I mean, if witlesses weren't they wouldn't be witlesses now would they?

  And this also points out that the only "normal" person in the house is naughty, naughty, naughty.

  To them being normal IS bad.

  Don't feel sorry for Caleb though, he's only an animated boy; feel sorry for all the real, and normal, witless children out there who really have to endure things like this.

  a controversial coney island principal has pulled the plug on patriotism.. her refusal to let students sing god bless the usa at their graduation has sparked fireworks at a school filled with proud immigrants.. greta hawkins, principal of ps 90, the edna cohen school, wont allow kindergartners to belt out the beloved lee greenwood ballad, also known as proud to be an american, at their moving-up ceremony.. context: middle correlation photo five classes spent months learning the patriotic song, which skyrocketed in popularity after the 9/11 attacks and the 2003 invasion of iraq.it was to be the rousing finale of their musical show at the june 20 commencement.

  the kids, dressed up for their big day, would wave tiny american flags which, as the lyrics proclaim, still stand for freedom.. but hawkins marched in on a recent rehearsal and ordered a cd playing the anthem to be shut off, staffers said.. she told the teachers to drop the song from the program.. we dont want to offend other cultures, they quoted her as explaining.. the curt edict stunned both staff and parents.. a lot of people fought to move to america to live freely, so that song should be sung with a whole lot of pride, said mom luz lozada, whose son, daniel, is in kindergarten.. the song has been sung at previous school events.

  last years fifth-graders, including another lozada child, performed it at graduation.. everybody applauded and whistled, the mom said.

  What an a-hole!

  I hope one of the school's staff is smart enough to record her showing prejudice and/or making administrative decisions based upon her religious beliefs; that could get her in hot water and cause quite a bad (by bad I mean good) witness.

  several months ago my father in law abused his key priveleges for the final time.

  he barged in after my son and i had left and harassed my darling wife/his daughter and tried to bully her into giving him her pain medication.

  when i heard about the situation after he had left we decided that the locks needed to be changed.
